By accessing and using QR Artistry ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and QR Artistry.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

Permission is granted to temporarily use QR Artistry for personal and commercial purposes. This license includes:

• Creating QR codes for personal, educational, or commercial use
• Downloading and using generated QR codes without attribution requirement
• Integrating our API into your applications (subject to API terms)
• Sharing QR codes created with our service

This license does not include:

• Modifying, copying, or redistributing our source code or service
• Using our service for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes
• Attempting to reverse engineer or compromise our systems
• Claiming ownership of our technology or intellectual property

As a user of QR Artistry, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not create QR codes containing illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
• Not use the service to distribute malware, viruses, or malicious links
• Respect intellectual property rights of others in your QR code content
• Not attempt to overwhelm our servers with excessive requests
• Maintain the security of your API keys (if applicable)
• Not share API access credentials with unauthorized parties

You are solely responsible for the content you include in QR codes and any consequences of sharing or distributing them.

While we strive to provide reliable service, QR Artistry is provided "as is" without guarantees of:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the service
• Error-free operation or bug-free experience
• Permanent storage or backup of your QR codes
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice. We may also impose limits on usage, such as API rate limits or file size restrictions.

If you use our API services, additional terms apply:

• API keys are provided for your exclusive use and must be kept secure
• Rate limits are enforced based on your subscription tier
• Excessive usage may result in temporary or permanent API access suspension
• API availability and features may change with advance notice
• You are responsible for all activity associated with your API key

Disclaimer: QR Artistry is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall QR Artistry, its operators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

QR Code Content: We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or consequences of QR code content created by users. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their QR codes comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Key privacy principles:

• QR code generation is processed locally in your browser when possible
• We do not store or access the content of your QR codes unless explicitly using API services
• Anonymous usage analytics help us improve the service
• Cookie preferences can be managed through our cookie banner

The QR Artistry service, including its design, functionality, and code, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain rights to content they create, while QR Artistry retains rights to the service technology.

QR codes generated using our service are yours to use freely without attribution requirements, though attribution is always appreciated.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Previously generated QR codes remain usable, but future access to the service may be restricted.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws applicable to web services, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the service shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days advance notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please discontinue use of the service.
